Israeli security forces thwarted two attempts by female Palestinian terrorists to stab Israelis on Tuesday morning.

In the first incident, an Israeli resident of the community of Karmei Tsur in Gush Etzion noticed a suspicious-looking Palestinian teen approaching the community’s vicinity and alerted a guard. He confronted the girl, who dropped her knife and was arrested. She is 13 years old.

Responding to the potentially lethal incident, David Pearl, head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, said that “a girl who leaves her home and goes to stab Jews instead of going to school is the product of years of vicious incitement which has been going on unhindered in the Palestinian Authority.” He called on the government to transition from defensive to offensive actions to quell the wave of daily Palestinian terror attacks.

Just minutes later, Border Policemen securing the entrance to Jerusalem’s Old City overcame a 16-year-old Palestinian who attempted to stab them.

The Border Policemen, who were stationed at the Damascus Gate, the site of numerous Palestinian terrorist attacks, noticed the suspicious acting teen and approached her. When they requested to check her bag, she drew a knife and attempted to stab them, but they responded quickly and overpowered her.

A police commander lauded their prompt and professional response, which prevented another potentially lethal attack, he said.

No injuries were recorded in any of the incidents.

Just a week ago, three Palestinian terrorists shot and killed a Border Policewoman and seriously wounded another in a shooting and stabbing attack at the Damascus Gate.

The recent Palestinian wave of violence is marked by an increased female role, with several teenager females driven to mostly suicidal attacks by incessant incitement by the Palestinian leadership.

UN chief Ban Ki-moon has recently claimed that these attacks are driven by Palestinian desperation over the so-called Israeli occupation. But teens who commit such attacks at this age are not despaired, rather, they are brainwashed by the Palestinian media and educational system, which promotes a culture of death and destruction that is driving an entire generation of Palestinians towards self-destruction.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of almost daily Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of the past five months, claiming the lives of 30 victims and wounding over 300.
