Two others were wounded and arrested.The incident occurred on the central Route 60 near the Palestinian village of Turmus Aya in the Binyamin region.A Palestinian terrorist exited a car and shot with a handgun at an IDF unit that was patrolling the area. The soldiers responded promptly and killed the terrorist. No Israeli troops were injured. Two other Palestinian suspects who were sitting in the car were shot and wounded as well. They were treated by Israeli medics at the scene and then were arrested and turned over to Israeli security forces for further questioning.
