Citizens at the site began to provide support and stop the bleeding. We quickly moved her into an intensive care ambulance and evacuated her to the hospital while providing life-sustaining support as she was anesthetized and placed on a respirator,” MDA paramedic Zaki Yahav recounted.The victim, who sustained wounds to her head and upper body, was rushed by a medical team to the Shaare Zedek hospital in Jerusalem, where she was categorized as being in critical and unstable condition. She died of her wounds shortly after. This was the third terror attack on Sunday. Earlier in the day, Palestinian terrorists carried out two terror attacks, wounding one Israeli. Both terrorists were shot dead. Gush Etzion Junction has been the site of multiple attacks in the current wave of Palestinian terror that began two months ago, as well as earlier on in 2014.The most recent attack occurred on Thursday when a Palestinian terrorist shot at motorists as they were stuck in a traffic jam at the junction. One Israeli, one Jewish American citizen and one Palestinian were murdered in the attack.These incidents were the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks which have plagued Israelis over the course of the past two months, claiming the lives of 20 victims and wounding 177.
