7 terror suspects seized in Judea and Samaria

The Israel Defense Forces took seven terrorist operatives into custody.

IDF forces arrested seven terrorist operatives throughout Judea and Samaria overnight into early Wednesday morning.

The seven are suspected of involvement in terrorist activities and violent disturbances toward civilians and security forces. They were taken for questioning.

In addition, during the searches by IDF forcesin the village of Silwad in the Binyamin regional division, terror funds worth tens of thousands of shekels were seized.

Israeli forces work continuously in Judea and Samaria to locate illegal weapons and break up terror cells, which are an ongoing threat.

Last Thursday, the IDF, along with border police, discovered an improvised explosive device when approximately 1,350 Jewish worshipers made their way to Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus.

On Oct. 111, IDF troops and police forces located a large amount of weaponry, including 19 pistols, five Kalashnikov assault rifles, a rifle and ammunition in the northern Jordan Valley area.
