He concluded his statement by asking God to have âmercy on the martyrs,â referring to the terrorists.An incendiary statement from Tibiâs Joint List party called the shootings âa crime against the Palestinian people.âMK Ofer Kassif, the only Jewish member of the Joint List, called the killings âcowardlyâ and accused the Israeli government of acting like a âmafia.âTibi has a long history of anti-Israel remarks.
