While he acknowledged that not all GOP voters are Trump supporters, he charged the party with being “dominated, driven and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans.”They “are determined to take this country backward,” he declared, “to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love.” They seek to “fan the flames of political violence,” he added.“For a long time, we’ve reassured ourselves that American democracy is guaranteed.
