Bank Leumi announced on Sunday that two accounts of Yinon Levi, a farmer in Judea and one of four Israelis against whom the US imposed sanctions for alleged violence against Palestinians, have been frozen.

According to Kan News, Levi holds two accounts at Bank Leumi, one a personal joint account with his wife and the other a business account which he shares with his brother.

Last Thursday, US President Joe Biden signed an executive order imposing sanctions on four Israelis who, according to the US State Department, were allegedly involved in violence against Palestinians in Judea and Samaria.

The other three Israelis who were sanctioned were Shalom Zicherman, David Chai Hasdai and Ainan Tanjil.

According to the US State Department’s accusation, Levi “led a group of settlers who engaged in actions that created an atmosphere of fear in the territories.”

The accusation continues, “He regularly led groups of settlers to attack Palestinians and Bedouins, threatened them with further violence if they did not leave their homes, burned their fields and destroyed their property.”

Levi denies the US State Department’s accusations against him and said, “The order was caused by the appeals of the anarchist, anti-Zionist left, hater of the Jewish people, Biden, who publicizes (false) stories about the pioneers of the people of Israel.”

Levi added, “Biden, who is unable to deal with the Houthis who are murdering American soldiers, does not scare us. We will continue to settle the Land of Israel without fear or fear.”

Israeli Prime Minister hit back against Biden’s statements about settlers in Judea and Samaria and his executive order to impose sanctions.

“The overwhelming majority of residents in Judea and Samaria are law-abiding citizens, many of whom are currently fighting – as conscripts and reservists – to defend Israel,” declared Netanyahu.

“Israel acts against all Israelis who break the law, everywhere; therefore, exceptional measures are unnecessary,” he added.
