Clint Eastwood twitterstorms in support of Israel

The actor famous for “Dirty Harry” has shown his support for Israel in the past.

As rockets rained down from Gaza on Israel, legendary Hollywood actor and producer Clint Eastwood took to Twitter to show his support for the Jewish State.

“Attention! @realDonaldTrump Pray for #Israel… They under attack right now! 2nd wave of rockets are incoming NOW at 1:41 EST …. 1st wave– More than 180 missiles (rockets) fired starting 22 hrs ago on Nov 12 #Israel #IronDome #Jewish #IsraelUnderFire #IsraelUnderAttack,” he tweeted on Tuesday.

Eastwood also posted a side by side video of a rocket hitting a highway, and the reaction of a bus driver when it exploded.

The actor’s fans were very supportive of his courageous move to support Israel on a wide open social media platform.

“Thank you so much for your support Clint and everyone . I got friends and family over there in shelters right now. God Bless Israel – 🙏🏻🇮🇱❤️ – עם ישראל חי,” said @HagarSuskind.

“Well said Clint. So wrong that normal people fear going about their normal routine, without death or injury from terrorists,” said @Steve91899359

Others did not appreciate his vocal support of Israel.

“Just lost respect for you Clint!” said @sebluvx.

“Israel is claiming to target terrorists, rocket launchers, while it’s targeting civilians and children,” said @AbdallahHasane7.

Eastwood has shown his support for Israel in the past.

During a private Hollywood gala for Benjamin Netanyahu in 2014, the “Dirty Harry” actor showed his support for the prime minister together with 60 other famous Hollywood figures, such as Barbra Streisand, Anthony Hopkins, and Leonardo Di Caprio.
