IDF forces operating in the Jordan Valley arrested two Palestinian women who were carrying a handgun and IDF uniforms, ostensibly to commit acts of terror.

Policemen alerted to the scene arrested the two and took them for questioning.

In related news, IDF forces carrying out a counterterrorism operation early Tuesday morning in the city of Hebron arrested a Palestinian carrying a knife, apparently on his way to attack them.

The forces noticed the man who aroused their suspicion. A search revealed he was carrying a weapon. He was arrested and taken for questioning.

On Monday, Israel’s police and a special border guard unit arrested a Palestinian Authority (PA) policeman in Bethlehem who participated in riots against Israeli forces and threw rocks at them.

The suspect, 36, participated in riots around Rachel’s Tomb. He was charged with assaulting police officers. He will face indictment in a military court in the coming days.

The police stated it would act “with a firm hand and in an uncompromising fashion to locate rioters who actively participate in violent disturbances, bringing them to justice.”

In total, IDF forces carrying out counterterrorism operations in Judea and Samaria arrested 13 Palestinians connected to terrorism.
