Hamas executes 3 for ‘collaborating’ with Israel

The Hamas terror group executed three Palestinians accused of ‘collaborating’ with Israel.

The Islamic Hamas terror group, which rules the Gaza Strip, executed three Palestinians accused of ‘collaborating’ with Israel.

Hamas stated they were hanged at a police compound on Thursday morning as dozens of Hamas leaders and officials watched.

Hamas launched a campaign against suspected spies for Israel after one of their commanders, Mazen Fuqaha, was found dead in Gaza last month, though apparently still has no clue as to the identity of the perpetrators or local residents who may have provided them with information.

Hamas blames Israel for the assassination, while Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman intimated Hamas is responsible for his death.

Hamas has executed 25 people sentenced under its judicial system since 2007 when it violently took over Gaza and killed 23 people without trials during its 2014 war with Israel.

Hamas’ attorney general announced Wednesday that in the coming days Hamas would execute several Palestinians accused of collaborating with Israel. The number of executions was not stated.

Hamas has repeatedly been condemned for multiple human rights violations. Human rights groups have called on Hamas to place a moratorium on the death penalty in Gaza, saying these verdicts do not serve justice and the rule of law.
