We’re just waiting for the green light to start transferring,” he continued.A second terrorist replied that coordinating the transfer of the stolen aid to another location in the Strip “is difficult due to a [cell phone] reception issue. If you can move them elsewhere, go ahead.”The first terrorist asked if he could take the goods “to Khan Yunis, or will that cause a delay?”Much of the international community has blamed Israel for the suffering of Gazans, but a recording obtained by Hebrew-language outlet Channel 12 revealed that Hamas is stockpiling humanitarian aid in warehouses guarded by armed terrorists, ensuring it does not reach civilians. In May 2024, the Biden administration admitted that a large shipment of aid from the U.S. had been stolen by Hamas in Gaza.“The convoys from the Jordanian military that brought the aid in unloaded the aid in Gaza. It was then picked up by a humanitarian implementer for distribution inside Gaza,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told media at the time. “That aid was intercepted and diverted by Hamas on the ground in Gaza.”In April 2024, a Palestinian Authority-controlled news station reported that Hamas murdered workers who were giving humanitarian aid to Gazan civilians.“Hamas’ persecution of any party who is a source for distributing the [humanitarian] aid or securing it began from the start of the war, as Hamas persecuted well-known figures and teams of volunteers on the ground in mid-October [2023],” a Fatah TV journalist said during a broadcast.Hamas “attacked them and killed some of them…to ensure Hamas control over the aid and its storage, which of course leads to these crazy and unreal prices that no one can pay in the shadow of this destruction.” Gaza humanitarian aidGaza humanitarian crisisHamasHamas aidhumanitarian aid
