Before sunrise on Tuesday morning, the IDF began demolishing the home of Muhammad Yousef in the Palestinian village of Kobar, announced Israel’s Defense Ministry.

At the end of July, Yousef snuck into Adam, a Jewish community in Samaria not far from Jerusalem’s city limits, and stabbed to death Yotam Ovadia. Yousef also injured another Israeli, before a third resident, Assaf Raviv, rushed to the scene and eliminated the terrorist.

Raviv also suffered stab wounds in the incident, with the second victim, a 58-year-old man, sustaining serious injuries as well.

Ovadia, a 31-year-old father of two, had been out purchasing items for an evening with his wife at the time of the attack.

Two weeks prior to the demolition, the military formally notified the family. During the demolition, Palestinians rioted, “thr[owing] stones, hurl[ing] Molotov cocktails and pipe bombs, sho[ooting] firecrackers and burn[ing] tires,” reported the Defense Ministry.

“We will continue fighting terror with an iron fist, we will continue building in Adam and in any other place where our citizens are being targeted,” tweeted Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman around the time the demolition began.
