First Class Yinon Fleischman, 31, from Jerusalem. His family was notified and the burial was scheduled for 2 p.m. at Mount Herzl Military Cemetery in Jerusalem.According to an update from the Galilee Medical Center, another soldier, aged 33, was in critical condition; a third soldier, 28, was in moderation condition; and a fourth soldier, 26, was lightly injured.Head of the Efrat Regional Council Oded Revivi, where Fleischman was originally from, updated the community that he “fell while fulfilling his duty on the northern border.” Revivi said that he is survived by his wife Noa and infant son Ziv, as well as his parents and five siblings.The military said that it was investigating the incident, which occurred near Rosh Hanikra close to the border with Lebanon, where cross-border clashes with Hezbollah terrorists have been occurring on a daily basis since Israel declared war on Hamas following the terrorist group’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel.Sirens were heard in communities surrounding the Gaza Strip on Monday morning, with reports of between 30 to 40 rockets fired at the western Negev city of Netivot. At least two direct impacts were reported in Netivot, with no injuries.
