Israel takes action against family of terrorist who killed 3

The IDF has taken several measures in response to the Palestinian terrorist attack that killed three Israelis on Tuesday.

The IDF has taken several measures against the family of Nimr Mahmoud Ahmed Jamal, a Palestinian terrorist who murdered three Israelis and seriously wounded a fourth during a shooting attack at Har Adar on Tuesday.

IDF engineers took preliminary steps by mapping out Jamal’s home in the Palestinian village of Beit Surik ahead of its demolition.

Tearing down terrorists’ homes is meant to serve as deterrence for potential terrorists plotting future attacks. The recent wave of Palestinian terror has claimed the lives of 55 victims in almost two years.

The IDF arrested two of Jamal’s brothers on suspicion that they knew of his intentions to carry out an attack. They also dismantled a mourner’s tent that was erected outside the terrorist’s house.

Israel canceled the entry permits of several of Jamal’s relatives. Jamal had entered Israel as an employee in Har Adar.

“While we are still investigating the event and its implications, we can say some things with certainty even now. One – the home of the terrorist will be demolished. Two – the IDF has already cordoned off the village. Three – all work permits for members of the terrorist’s extended family are hereby revoked,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced after the attack.
