Take the fiancée along and commit terror attacks against Israelis. Israeli security forces early Sunday morning shot and killed a Palestinian terrorist during an attempt to arrest him after he had threatened them with his weapon.Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said that in a joint operation with the IDF, Special Forces tracked down the suspect responsible for two recent attacks. The culprit began shooting with an automatic weapon, and the troops returned fire, shooting him dead. The terrorist was identified as Amar Ahmed Lutfi Khalil, 34, a resident of Kfar Ayin, who committed two shootings in the Ateret and Nabi Salah area over the weekend. No Israelis were harmed in the attacks, although a Brazilian citizen driving a car with an Israeli license plate was lightly wounded. The Shin Bet (Israel’s Security Agency/ISA) stated Sunday that Khalil had previously been a member of the Palestinian security services and susequently became an illegal weapons dealer. He committed both attacks together with his fiancée, Ruan Ambar, apparently as a result of their families’ rejection of their engagement.Ruan turned herself in to the Palestinian security services, where she is being held for now.“The ISA, Israel Police and IDF will continue to take determined action to thwart terrorist attacks and quickly solve those attacks committed against Israeli civilians and security forces,” the Shin Bet stated.Read Two injured in terrorist ramming attack north of JerusalemBy: Aryeh Savir, World Israel News Micky RosenfeldPalestinian terrorShin BetShooting attack
