Israeli forces thwart Palestinian attack in Hebron

Palestinian terrorists continue to attack Israeli civilians and soldiers after being incited to kill by the Palestinian Authority.

Israeli security forces arrested a Palestinian female terrorist on Tuesday in Hebron after she attempted to carry out a stabbing attack against soldiers securing the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron.

The suspect arrived at a checkpoint at the entrance to the holy site and aroused the suspicion of the forces manning the checkpoint.

They checked her bag and found her to be carrying two knives. She was arrested and taken for questioning, during which she admitted she intended to carry out a stabbing attack.

Hebron, and especially the Tomb of the Patriarchs, has been the site of multiple Palestinian terror attacks.

Just last Friday, IDF soldiers arrested a Palestinian who was carrying a hidden knife outside the Tomb of the Patriarchs. The suspect admitted during his initial questioning that he intended to carry out a terror attack.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks which have plagued Israelis over the course of more than a year, claiming the lives of 41 victims and wounding over 550.
