According to Israel’s “Basic Law: The Government,” that person has 28 days to form a new coalition.If required, the president can allocate up to 14 additional days.In a historic and pioneering decision by the president, Rivlin has ordered that the meetings with the parties will be broadcast live on all platforms in order to ensure transparency for Israeli citizens.
