Israeli wounded in Palestinian shooting attack

Palestinian terrorists shot at an Israeli man in Samaria, lightly wounding him.

Palestinian terrorists fired at an Israeli car driving in Samaria on Sunday night, wounding the driver. The attack is believed to have been a drive-by shooting.

The victim, in his 20s, sustained light wounds to his face from glass shards. He was evacuated to Sheba Medical Center in the Tel Aviv district.

The terrorists fled the scene. The IDF launched a search and is investigating whether an abandoned car found in the vicinity of the shooting was used by the terrorists.

The attack occurred in the same area where an Israeli woman was shot at on Wednesday. She escaped the attack unharmed.

In related news, Israeli forces carried out counter-terror operations on Sunday night throughout Judea and Samaria, arresting six Palestinians, four of them members of Hamas and one belonging to Islamic Jihad.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks that have plagued Israelis over the course of more than a year, claiming the lives of 41 victims and wounding over 550.
