Israelis nearly killed by Palestinian police during visit to Joseph’s Tomb November 13, 2016(Alhudood.net)(Alhudood.net)Israelis nearly killed by Palestinian police during visit to Joseph’s TombFive Israelis were almost killed Saturday night when they entered the city of Shechem (Nablus), controlled by the Palestinian Authority (PA), without coordination with, or authorization from, the IDF.Five Israelis were on their way to visit Joseph’s Tomb in the middle of the city when they were spotted by Palestinian police.While four of them entered the tomb, the police asked the Israeli in the car to step out of his vehicle, but he refused and drove away, prompting police to shoot at him.Shortly after, they arrested the four other Israelis and turned them over to the IDF.Israelis are barred from entering Area A, which is under full Palestinian control, due to the imminent threat posed by such travel.Israelis have in the past been killed and wounded by the Palestinian police or Palestinian mobs after entering territory under Palestinian control without coordination with the IDF.The IDF usually conducts an organized entry to Joseph’s Tomb on a monthly basis.By: Aryeh Savir, World Israel News Joseph's TombPalestinian Authorityshechem
