A mural of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu kissing Adolf Hitler was displayed on the wall of a high school in Rome.

The mural was painted by a popular Italian street artist known as Laika, who titled it “The Final Solution.”

She said the intent was to raise awareness among the public and the media.

Laika characterized the IDF’s operations in Gaza as “genocide” and alleged that the world community was hypocritical for not unanimously agreeing to impose sanctions against Israel.

“The Israeli government, with the support of the United States and the European Union, is intentionally advancing a campaign to annihilate the Palestinian people,” she claimed.

“Gaza has long been a massive open-air prison, and now it has been nearly entirely destroyed. The next phase is the expulsion of the survivors,” she added.

“Europe imposed sanctions on Russia for invading Ukraine, yet it remains silent in the face of Israeli atrocities. The genocide of the Palestinian people is not only tolerated but also funded, while protests in defense of this oppressed and slaughtered nation are being suppressed.”

She then called on the Jewish people to denounce the “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza, implying that she believed it was akin to the Holocaust during which over six million Jews were murdered by the Nazis.

“Those who have endured immense suffering, such as the Holocaust, cannot stand idly by and accept the atrocities happening in Gaza,” she said.

In February, a Hamas official admitted that there were over two million Palestinians in Gaza, directly contradicting accusations of genocide.

During an interview with anti-Israel social media personality Jackson Hinkle, Basem Naim, a Hamas official and former Gaza Minister of Health, disputed US President Donald Trump’s claim that there were two million people in Gaza.

“Donald Trump has come out a few times, and he says the population in Gaza is 1.7 to 1.8 million. Of course, before [Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel] the population was much more than that, 400,000 to 500,000. Do you think his statistics are accurate, and if so, where did all those people go? Because we see the Ministry of Health in Gaza, they say the [Palestinian] death toll registered officially is over 40,000 [during the Israel-Hamas war],” Hinkle asked.

“I have no idea about his intentions to mention this number. But officially, there are 2.3 million-plus Palestinians in the Gaza Strip,” Naim replied.
