Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said an agreement has yet to be reached with the administration of President Donald Trump on Israeli construction in Judea and Samaria, according to a Haaretz report. “There are no understandings [between Israel and Trump] about construction,” Netanyahu reportedly told his Likud party in a closed meeting. “We will develop a mechanism to try to reach understandings, but on this specific issue, there is no agreement.”Netanyahu informed his Cabinet last week that a joint-mechanism would be established with the Trump administration regarding Israeli construction in Judea and Samaria, to the objection of a number of coalition members.“Things are not as simple as you think,” Netanyahu reportedly said. “We should know what the limits of this opportunity are.”By: Jonathan Benedek, World Israel News Judea and SamariaNetanyahuTrump administration
