Palestinian terrorist wounds Israeli in Jerusalem stabbing attack

Palestinian terrorists continue to attack innocent Israeli civilians, while the world remains silent.

A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and wounded an Israeli in the center of Jerusalem on Monday morning.

The victim, 26, was taken to Shaare Zedek hospital in the capital where he was treated for light wounds sustained to his upper body.

A first-responder on the scene said the victim was walking with his family when he was assaulted from behind. He was wounded while struggling with the terrorist.

The terrorist, 20, a resident of Judea and Samaria, was arrested by Border Policemen patrolling the area, and was taken for further questioning.

A police commander lauded the officers’ quick response, which “prevented the harming of further innocent victims.”

The site of the attack is a sensitive area, adjacent to the Old City’s Damascus Gate, and the site of several previous Palestinian terror attacks.

This incident was the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of more than seven months, claiming the lives of 33 victims and wounding over 450.
