Stabbing attack thwarted at Cave of the Patriarchs

Israeli border guards quickly disarmed a Palestinian male planning at attack at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron on Tuesday.

Israeli border guards aimed their weapons at a 17-year-old Palestinian male who waved a knife at them at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron on Tuesday.

At a checkpoint, the Palestinian was asked to remove all the items in his pockets. When a metal detector identified something still on him, he drew the knife and threatened the soldiers. When they pointed their weapons at him, he gave himself up.
