Former President Barack Obama said in an interview with The New Yorker that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attempted to pressure him to go to war with Iran, describing longstanding disagreements over how to address Tehran’s nuclear program.

Obama said Netanyahu urged military action using arguments similar to those later presented to Donald Trump.

“Maybe Netanyahu got what he wanted, but I doubt whether that’s what’s good for the citizens of Israel or the United States. There is extensive documentation of my disagreements with Netanyahu,” Obama said.

“I think my prognosis was accurate,” Obama said, adding that he questions whether military action was best for the American and Israeli people.

Instead of pursuing joint strikes with Israel, Obama said he prioritized diplomacy with Iran.

Those efforts led to the 2015 nuclear agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which imposed limits on Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief.

Netanyahu strongly opposed the agreement, warning it would fail to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and would strengthen the country economically and militarily.

Trump later withdrew the United States from the deal in 2018, reimposing sanctions on Iran and aligning more closely with Netanyahu’s position.

On April 20, 2026, Trump denied that Israel pressured or persuaded him to launch a war against Iran.

Writing on Truth Social, he said the decision reflected his own policies and the October 7, 2023, attacks, as well as his longstanding view that Iran must never acquire nuclear weapons.

Trump also rejected reports that Netanyahu pushed the United States into a joint operation, calling such claims “fake news.”

Obama warned that shifting geopolitical conditions could carry long-term consequences for global stability. He cited strains within traditional alliances and said the international system established after World War II, anchored by institutions such as NATO, is facing increasing pressure.

The suspected gunman’s anti-Trump writings are fueling backlash to Obama’s “unknown motive” statement.

Former President Barack Obama said it remains unclear what motivated the gunman who opened fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, despite the public release of excerpts from a manifesto in which the suspect outlined his intent to target President Donald Trump and members of his administration.

The suspect, Cole Allen, a 31-year-old teacher from Southern California, emailed a document to family members minutes before the attack. In it, he described his opposition to the Trump administration, accusing it of committing what he called heinous “crimes” and justifying his reasons for carrying out a violent rampage.

Allen opened fire inside the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C., where the event was being held. He struck one Secret Service agent, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was quickly subdued by Secret Service agents and other security personnel before causing mass casualties.

Authorities and multiple reports indicated that Allen’s writings clearly outlined a political motive. Even outlets typically critical of Trump, including The Atlantic, characterized the incident as a far-left terror attack.

Despite this, the former president framed the motive as uncertain.

“Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all of us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy,” Obama wrote.

The statement quickly drew backlash from critics, who argued that the suspect’s reasons for carrying out the attack were overtly political.

“Let’s not pretend to be this clueless about motive,” said Lee Zeldin, a former New York congressman and current senior administrator at the Environmental Protection Agency. “The attempted assassin put out an anti-Trump manifesto about wanting to kill Trump administration officials minutes before trying to storm a ballroom filled with the president, vice president, Cabinet members, and others.”

President Trump blasts Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal, accusing the former president of siding with Iran over America’s allies in the Mideast and offering Tehran a path to a nuclear weapon.

President Donald Trump excoriated former President Barack Obama on Monday, accusing the 44th president of siding with Iran over America’s allies in the Middle East.

During a press conference held in the White House, Trump lamented that his predecessors allowed the Islamic Republic to build its strength since 1979, with the regime reaching its peak on the eve of the current war.

“We’ve been dealing with these people for 47 years,” Trump told reporters. “I’m standing here – a month ago – with a much more powerful Iran than it was at any point during 47 years.”

“This should have been handled by seven presidents, a lot of presidents and those presidents are saying now, every one of them to their friends, we should have done this a long time ago.”

Trump singled out Barack Obama for the sharpest criticism, denouncing the 2015 nuclear deal and stating that had the US not dropped out of the agreement, Iran likely would have acquired nuclear weapons.

“If I didn’t terminate the Barack Hussein Obama Iran nuclear deal, they would have had — don’t forget, that was a path to a nuclear weapon, remember this.”

The president chided Jewish Democrats, echoing past comments in which he cited the party’s growing hostility towards the Jewish state.

“He [Obama] chose Iran over Israel, pure and simple,” Trump continued. “If you’re Jewish in New York City or any place else in this country, and how you can vote for a Democrat is unbelievable because he chose Iran, a very hostile Iran.”

“Remember when he filled up a [passenger plane] with cash, billions of dollars of cash, and he sent it over to them then they gave them tens of billions of dollars.”

Trump added that Obama’s policies were detrimental not only to Israel but to America’s Arab allies as well.

“He chose Iran over Israel and really the Arab world … Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE.”

“I can add Kuwait and I can add Bahrain and you can add others.”

Had the 2015 nuclear deal remained in place, Trump continued, Iran would likely have used its nuclear arsenal to strike Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other US-aligned states in the region.

“If we didn’t do that, Iran would have had a nuclear weapon at a high level.”

“I told this to Bibi Netanyahu yesterday: Israel would have been extinguished. Large portions of the Middle East would have been extinguished, whether it’s Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE or others.”

President Donald Trump suggested via a social media post on Monday that former president Barack Obama could be arrested for allegedly participating in a conspiracy to undermine Trump’s 2016 election victory.

Trump made the implication by reposting an AI-generated video on his Truth Social account, which included real clips of Democratic politicians stating that U.S. law should apply to everyone equally.

The video, originally created by a TikTok user, included a compilation of prominent Democratic politicians — including Obama and former president Joe Biden — stating that “no one is above the law.”

The scene then shifts to a dramatized meeting between Trump and Obama at the White House.

In the AI-generated footage, FBI agents suddenly appear, handcuff a shocked Obama, and force him to his knees while Trump watches and laughs.

Set to the disco hit “YMCA,” the video ends with a digitally altered image of an incarcerated Obama, clad in an orange prison jumpsuit.

Trump did not add a caption to the video after reposting it on his Truth Social page.

On Sunday, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said that Obama and other figures affiliated with his administration had fabricated the Russiagate hoax in order to delegitimize Trump’s presidency.

The false claims, which emerged from left-wing media, alleged that Russia had interfered in the 2016 U.S. elections to help Trump secure his win.

Despite massive national security and intelligence resources being directed to investigate the claim, there was never evidence to confirm the allegations tying Russia to Trump’s victory.

“The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic,” Gabbard told Fox News on Sunday.

The Obama administration had sent a fortune in weaponry to the LAF for a fake war in which Hezbollah and ISIS cut their own deal, while Hezbollah’s puppet army pocketed our weapons.

Hezbollah, the Iran-backed Islamic terrorist group in control of Lebanon, used to boast that it was unbeatable because of its arsenal of over 100,000 missiles and rockets.

That arsenal, which was severely depleted by Israel before the Biden imposed ceasefire, relied heavily on a large collection of anti-tank missiles that could also be used against civilian targets, shelters and even, in the case of a Hamas attack in 2011 with a Russian Kornet, a school bus.

The TOW missile, originally developed in the 1960s, is a mainstay of the terrorist arsenal.

Hezbollah’s TOW missiles come from a variety of sources. The United States sold TOWs to the old Iranian government and after the Islamic takeover, the new regime cranked out copies called ‘Toophans’ which its Islamic terrorist networks have distributed to Jihadists around the region.

The Obama administration had also handed out TOW missiles like candy to Sunni Jihadists across the border during the Syrian civil war. Some of these were captured by Shiite Jihadists, including Hezbollah, fighting for the Assad regime and then transported to Lebanon.

Russia has been passing along to Iran the captured weapons that the United States had sent to Ukraine. Iran will attempt to reverse engineer our more advanced weaponry, but any TOW missiles will be directed to Hezbollah, the Houthis, Hamas and other allied terror groups.

But there is still yet another troubling question about the source of some of Hezbollah’s TOWs.

In 2015, the Obama administration announced its intention of selling 1,000 TOW 2A anti-armor missiles and 500 bunker buster TOW BGM-71s along with “launchers, containers, spare and repair parts, support equipment, publications and technical documentation, personnel training and training equipment” to Lebanon’s military. But whom was Lebanon’s military going to fight?

The only tanks the Lebanese Armed Forces were likely to meet in battle were Israeli ones.

The State Department claimed that sending anti-tank rockets to Lebanon, “will enhance the foreign policy and national security of the United States”, without actually clarifying how sending missiles into a terrorist state and training the locals to use them would enhance American national security.

It also argued that the anti-tank missiles would allow Lebanon to “meet current and future threats and provide greater security for its critical infrastructure” without clarifying who besides Israel might be considered as posing a threat to Lebanon’s infrastructure.

The Lebanese Armed Forces are a threadbare operation which made headlines for selling helicopter tours to tourists. Its military has been hardly active and exists as a jobs program, a way to soak up U.S. foreign aid, and is functionally little more than a puppet of Hezbollah.

The same military that could only afford $90 monthly salaries for its soldiers and was using choppers for tourism tours somehow needed $245 million worth of missiles from the United States.

Much of the LAF’s officer class came out of Hezbollah and top military leaders have been caught coordinating with Hezbollah. Training and arming the LAF is training and arming Hezbollah. And ultimately aiding Iran’s ability to use its proxies to start another war.

After the first delivery of anti-tank missiles, Obama officials claimed that they were needed to help fight Al-Qaeda and ISIS in Syria.

The Obama administration also sent Bradley fighting vehicles, hellfire missiles, howitzers, laser-guided artillery shells, grenade launchers, 1,100 machine guns, including 800 50-caliber machine guns, 4,000 M4 rifles, half a million rounds of ammunition, and other equipment under the guise of helping the LAF fight ISIS.

The LAF however avoided fighting ISIS for years, apart from a few brief clashes, and then stood aside while Hezbollah engaged in a more prolonged engagement that ended in a ceasefire between the two terrorist groups while the LAF fiddled with the equipment we had given them.

The Obama administration had sent a fortune in weaponry to the LAF for a fake war in which Hezbollah and ISIS cut their own deal, while Hezbollah’s puppet army pocketed our weapons.

And all of this armament was only a small part of the more than $3 billion in military aid provided by the United States since 2006 to Lebanon’s military which runs tours rather than fight.

But the real question is how much of that armament eventually made its way over to Hezbollah?

When Hezbollah barraged Israeli frontline communities with rockets and missiles in the months after Oct 7, did any of them come from the rockets that Obama sent to Lebanon?

During the 2006 war with Hezbollah, Israeli forces had captured Hezbollah supplies of TOW missiles carrying U.S. markings that had likely been sold to U.S. Muslim ‘allies’ in the region, but by providing TOW missiles directly to Lebanon’s armed forces, Obama may have cut out the middleman and enabled Hezbollah to benefit directly from U.S. weapons and training.

Obama had sent pallets of cash to Iran and provided an even bigger fortune in sanctions relief, but the transfer of anti-tank and bunker busting missiles to a military organization manned by Hezbollah operatives provided the most direct link yet between the administration’s support for Iran’s axis of terror and the carnage that it wrought in Israel.

Hezbollah attacks on Israel caused the deaths of civilians. And the Obama administration knew what would happen because as far back as the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon under the Clinton administration in 1999-2000, the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center described how “using American-made, tube-launched, optically-tracked, wire-guided missiles (TOWs)”, Hezbollah continued its campaign of attacks on Christian Lebanese and Israeli forces.

American weapons were being used by Islamic terrorists to kill Christians in Lebanon.

The Obama administration was staffed by many veterans of the Clinton administration, including Secretary of State Blinken, who surely knew what would happen and did it anyway, and then went on to promote the same policies, providing yet more weapons to Lebanon during the Biden administration.

And yet, as documented in a previous Front Page Magazine article, “The U.S. Sent Over $3 Billion to Hezbollah’s ‘Army’”, even at the very end of its time in office, reprogrammed millions in military aid for Israel to the Lebanese Armed Forces.

Rep. Greg Steube introduced the PAGER Act (Preventing Armed Groups from Engaging in Radicalism) to stop “sending U.S. taxpayer dollars to Lebanon.”

“For two years I filed an amendment to the annual State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations bill to eliminate funding to the Lebanese Armed Forces, as the money goes to Hezbollah. Republicans and Democrats continue to vote it down.”

American taxpayer money should not be used to arm Islamic terrorists.

In 2024, Barack Obama was on the ballot. The two Democratic presidential nominees, one of whom he ousted, was his former VP, and the other had made herself over in his image. The campaign and policy operations of both Kamala and Biden were staffed with Obamanites.

And it was Obama who really lost the 2024 election.

Not just Obama, but Obamacrats, a party that championed every leftist policy and that turned over its policymaking apparatus to radical donor-groups, a congressional delegation whose younger members, especially the Squad, embodied multicultural transgressive hipness, lost.

Democrats had given Obama a mortgage on the party and in 2024 it all went bust.

The Democrats went into the 2024 election, as they had with so many others, on the promise of Obama’s fundamental realignment which replaced the white working class with a multicultural college educated elite, only to be smashed in the face with a whole new realignment in 2024.

Democrats aren’t just reeling because they lost an election, but their entire mission statement and generational plan for taking over the country and securing a permanent majority.

This was not just an electoral defeat, but the destruction of a grand unifying theory of American politics.

The promise of Obama had failed. And now the party no longer knows what it is, what to believe in and what to do next. Everything that Obama had done is suddenly open to being unwound.

Unlike other former presidents who left office and moved on, Obama had cultivated a mystique as the party’s elder statesman, appearing to sit out the primaries before swooping in at the last minute to forge a leftist unity deal, like the one that put Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders in charge of the Biden administration, and then appearing on the campaign trail to make the case for the candidate in terms of his own personal appeal and philosophy.

This time out, the Obamas emerged to campaign for Kamala and helped cost her the election.

The man who once seemed able to hypnotize a nation with glib rhetoric struggled to win over not only Americans at large, but even triggered a backlash from black voters with his criticism.

Did Obama lose his touch? Or did the nation that Obama seduced no longer exist?

America before Obama, a nation where much of the voting bloc consisted of baby boomers still enthralled by the Kennedy mystique and that viewed the civil rights movement as foundational to the national identity, was remade into a balkanized country with a vanished history.

The average American today was a toddler when the Berlin Wall fell and a teenager on 9/11. Instead of entering a national history of opportunity, they were inducted into a caste system based on their sex, race and other immutable characteristics to atone for America’s shameful past.

Obama did that. And in doing so, he destroyed the America that was moved by his speeches.

America after Obama is marked by separation not unity, by a relentless skepticism in everything and a distrust of oratory. That is why Obama could no more get elected today than Kamala could while running an Obama Lite campaign under the tutelage of Obama’s old hands.

Obama was the final link in a ‘type’ of progressive politician innovated by JFK, youthful, hip and optimistic, who could rebrand socialism as in keeping with the best traditions of America, and who would make the negative outcomes of his radical policies seem inspiring and aspirational.

Barack Obama, like Bill Clinton, was yet another and final copy of JFK who did not so much break the mold, as break America. JFK’s support for mass migration had brought Obama’s father to America and it was only fitting that Obama closed the circle by ending the legacy.

The core appeal of Obamanism, like that of JFK and Bill Clinton, had been the fusion of the leftist idea of the right side of history with American manifest destiny, but faith in destiny and other intangible ideas has never been lower.

What people believe now is what they can touch. That’s why years of being told that the economy was wonderful was rejected out of hand.

Fake optimism no longer works.

During the Obama years, Americans underwent a fundamental change reflected in polls and surveys. In preceding eras, optimism about the future characterized Americans. Obama killed that hope.

Polls and surveys show a country that no longer trusts its institutions, is not optimistic about the future and does not expect the next generation to be better off.

The death of optimism also killed a certain rhetorical style that had dominated political speeches for generations.

Political rhetoric these days contains far less optimism, exceptionalism, and inspiration. And those speeches that do increasingly feel like holdovers from another age used by dated politicians or limited to small scale events by community groups rather than national addresses.

Much of that is due to Obama. And it also killed Obama’s abilities as a speaker. His recent attempts to deliver addresses on themes from the election to divisiveness fall flat because he remains a one-trick pony whose trick was overlaying American optimism over radical agendas.

The Americanism and optimism ring false, as they always should have, and without them, there is only a small abrasive petty man who despite his past posturing can’t compete on insults.

Obama’s style was camouflage and it doesn’t work in the no filter era. Americans had let themselves believe too many times and after being burned, they prefer an abrasive authenticity to pretty words, conflict to hope, and are determined not to let themselves be fooled again.

There can’t be another Obama or JFK. America is all out of patience with slick college boys in blue shirts with haloes offering up quotes about “the better angels of our nature” to justify sticking it to the middle class even harder.

Efforts by Beto O’Rourke or Pete Buttigieg to become the new JFK never even got off the ground. Kamala’s conviction that she was the new Obama led to a historic defeat. Camelot really has fallen for good this time and won’t come back.

What will come after Obama? Democrats muse about finding their own ‘Trump’ or “DeSantis’ or finding a new generational political talent and building a movement around him.

But no such figure appears to be on the horizon. 41% of Democrats are willing to take another chance on Kamala while a significant minority are ready to give the nod to California’s Gov. Newsom.

Neither is likely to be the candidate but, even more significantly, neither has any kind of larger philosophy beyond excelling at Bay Area fundraising and agreeing with anything the Left says.

The hour may come when the Democrats become willing to embrace a true leftist insurgent candidacy, one that will openly make the case for dismantling America, and given the right social and economic conditions, they may even win.

The new realignment is open to radical ideas and the worse things get, the more willing the public will be to open the Overton Window.

And that was always Obama’s real function.

Obama was never meant to be anything more than a transitional candidate from America to post-America, and while his legacy may be in tatters, his mission has been accomplished.

Carrying around an anti-Israel book is a topical signal that another realignment on Israel is about to be forced.

One of Obama’s little pseudointellectual gimmicks was very visibly holding topical books to send a signal ahead of a policy intifada. One of those infamous moments came when he was showing off Fareed Zakaria’s “The Post-American World”.

That’s not something Biden does.

Biden’s not much of a reader and he hasn’t bothered with that kind of posturing before, but then shortly after forcing a ceasefire on Israel using an arms embargo, he was photographed while ‘pulling an Obama’.

President Biden was photographed exiting the Nantucket Bookworks bookstore in Massachusetts with a copy of an anti-Israel screed by Obama’s old pal Rashid Khalidi who had been a terrorist spokesman.

Was Biden really planning to read through ‘The Hundred-Year War on Palestine: A History of Colonialism and Resistance’ which slurs Israel as an ‘apartheid state’ and describes Islamic terrorism against Jews as ‘resistance’?

After the Oct 7 attacks, Khalidi defended Hamas, claimed that its members really wanted peace and that Hamas had opened “a door that the United States, Europe and Israel slammed shut”.

“If you can’t go to the International Criminal Court or do a BDS,” Khalidi argued, “then you pick up a gun.”

Khalidi was so toxic that the Los Angeles Times had permanently buried a video of Obama’s toast for the former terror spokesman.

So why is Biden showing off a copy of Khalidi’s hate tract?

Regular readers know I’ve been highly skeptical of past claims that Obama is controlling Biden.

I’ve written plenty about the role that Obama has played, largely through his associates and more importantly through the ‘unity’ deal he brokered to secure the nomination for Biden in 2020, but all of that relied on empowering various figures in the administration.

Biden had mixed feelings about Obama (at least back when his mind functioned) and he had plenty of loyalists around him. Obama was and had been old news for a while.

The Biden administration did not have Obama’s fingerprints all over it.

The Kamala campaign had more obvious Obama fingerprints all over it and if you look at it from a cultural perspective, it’s pretty easy to spot.

Ditto for Biden toting around a copy of the book Obama would be showing off if he were still in the White House.

The Biden administration is toast. It’s mostly of value to the folks who want to use the remaining days to accomplish whatever destructive political goals they have in mind.

The careerists have checked out. No one sees a future for this administration and that leaves a pretty clear field for Obama and his allies.

And what do they want?

Obama’s exit strategy involved going after Israel in 2016 in order to force another realignment. Carrying around an anti-Israel book is a topical signal that another realignment on Israel is about to be forced.

It’s not how Biden’s people would normally signal this. It’s how Obama’s people would. We know their objective.

It’s the diplomatic recognition of an Islamic terrorist state inside Israel.

The more you look at Kamala, the more you see these parallels with Obama.

A lot of conservatives ridicule Kamala as an empty pantsuit with no real ideas or identity of her own. And she certainly provides plenty of ammunition for that position, but there is also another Kamala story.

It’s the familiar story of an urban machine politician who was raised outside America without a father, born to a radical third-world student resentful of British colonialism, faked a black American identity, and used racial identity politics to get ahead all the while harboring a deep resentment of America.

It’s Obama’s bio, but it could just as easily be Kamala’s.

Kamala saw herself as the next Obama even while she was running for Senate. She always believed that she would one day follow in his footsteps.

Kamala’s risky decision to break with the party and back Obama over Hillary Clinton was based on their pre-existing relationship, and it paid off. As Kamala prepared for a Senate run, she saw herself as him.

“She wants to live the life of someone in the White House,” a strategist described Kamala in 2015, “and she hasn’t even won the Senate yet. Her hanging around the president and first lady”, referencing the Obamas, “it’s gotten her hooked. She thinks it’s her birthright and it’s not.”

Even before she was born, their stars had already crossed.

Donald Warden had a message, “the time has come to break with white America.”

After the Watts riots, Warden, who would later convert to Islam and take the name Khaled Al-Mansour, released an album titled “Burn, Baby Burn”, celebrating the riots and looting. “The black man cannot take anymore, he is now looking to burn,” he warned.

Warden’s vehicle for spreading his hate was the Afro American Association. And that was where Kamala’s parents met.

The ‘Association’ had been created to study “Black Identity.” It banned white people and even non-black ones from joining. With only one exception. Kamala’s mother.

Donald Warden later converted to Islam and changed his name to Khaled El-Mansour. Warden/Mansour would go on to help found the Black Panthers. And, once he was on the Saudi payroll, solicited money and recommendation letters for Obama to go to Harvard.

Obama and Kamala both took a racist pastor as their inspiration and guiding light.

“America has not changed” since the days of segregation, Kamala’s pastor had argued while revisiting the killing of Emmett Till.

“This sin of race is so deep, so pervasive in the body politic of America that if we don’t find a remnant to help turn things around, America is going to go down.”

This was the bigot of whom Vice President Kamala Harris had said, “for two decades now, at least, I have turned to you… And I will say that your wisdom has really guided me and grounded me during some of the most difficult times. And – and you have been a source of inspiration to me always.”

“Ohhhh — America,” Brown gleefully chanted after 9/11, “what did you do?”

Brown and Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s racist pastor, were friends. Brown had hosted Wright and his hate at the church of which Kamala is a member.

The more you look at Kamala, the more you see these parallels with Obama.

All of this is a scam.

Act 1. The stage is set. The key players are Barack Obama, who wants to manufacture a break with Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, looking to navigate a hostile administration, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden.

During Biden’s visit to Israel, the Obama administration stages a scandal, claiming that it was deliberately insulted because the local Jerusalem municipality routed some housing that the administration belatedly opposed through an approvals process.

Hillary Clinton spends an hour (and later brags about) yelling at Netanyahu over the phone. Biden refuses to come down for an hour to an event and a glass trophy being awarded to him ends up being broken.

The media plays up an invented scandal while spreading the narrative that it was Netanyahu who was creating a crisis.

Act 2. Dramatis Personae: Joe Biden, Benjamin Netanyahu and Barak Ravid, the Axios-employed propagandist acting as a point man for the Biden administration’s influence operation to remove Netanyahu and stop the war on Hamas while preventing any action against Iran.

Here’s how it plays out.

Biden publicly blocks previously approved military aid to Israel and slow-walks other aid. Netanyahu mentions this in a video.

The Biden administration fumes and cancels a meeting on Iran. Ravid writes all of this up with lots of “anonymous sources” from the administration and the Israeli left.

The second act is even more absurd than the first because Biden was touting his “extreme pressure” on Israel in a recent video.

But when Netanyahu mentions it, it’s a “scandal” and an “insult.”

Cue the media narrative campaign.

Barak Ravid/Axios: “Scoop: White House cancels meeting, scolds Netanyahu in protest over video.”

Barak Ravid/Axios: “White House baffled by Netanyahu’s claim Biden is withholding weapons.”

Baffled!

Barak Ravid/Axios: “Scoop: U.S. put a hold on an ammunition shipment to Israel.”

All of this is a scam. The goal is to abandon Israel and convince liberal American Jews to blame Israel for the breach.

It’s the same Obama playbook being run again.

Obama, a Columbia alumnus, wrote an X post on Monday about Passover but made no mention of the crisis of antisemitism on US campuses.

As anti-Israel protests are causing the cancellation of classes at Columbia University, former US President Barack Obama remains silent about the explosive situation at his alma mater.

Obama, who graduated from Columbia in 1983, wrote an X post on Monday commemorating Passover but didn’t take the opportunity to address the issue of the harassment of Jewish students at Columbia.

When Fox News Digital tried to reach the former president and his representatives for a comment about the situation at Columbia, they received no response.

However, other Democrats have joined Republicans in criticism of the situation at the university Jewish students face at the University located in New York City.

Democratic Senate Majority Leader from New York, Chuck Schumer said in a statement, “Every American has a right to protest. But when protests shift to antisemitism, verbal abuse, intimidation, or glorification of Oct. 7 violence against Jewish people, that crosses the line.”

NY Democratic Representative Kirsten Gillibrand said she was “appalled” by the situation at Columbia, and said, “Threats of violence against Jewish students and the Jewish community are horrible, despicable and wholly unacceptable.”

“Using the rhetoric of terrorists has no place in New York, where we pride ourselves on tolerance and the right of every group to practice their religion in peace,” she added.

Two Democratic lawmakers, New York Representative Ritchie Torres and Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman have called for the resignation of Columbia President Minouche Shafik.

In an X post, Torres wrote: “The cancellation of in-person classes at Columbia University is an admission of failure by President Minouche Shafik, who has chosen to surrender control of Columbia to an antisemitic fringe.”

He added, “If you cannot ensure the safety of your students, then you have no business serving as President of any university, let alone the alma mater of Alexander Hamilton.”

“What Columbia University needs is not an appeaser of antisemitism but a leader who will fight with moral clarity against it,” Torres concluded.

Democratic Senator from Pennsylvania, John Fetterman posted on X that Columbia’s protests were  “antisemitic, unconscionable and dangerous.”

“Add some tiki torches and it’s Charlottesville for these Jewish students,” Fetterman  added referring to a 2017 white supremacist rally at the University of Virginia characterized by the chant “Jews will not replace us.”

“Do your job or resign so Columbia can find someone who will,” said Fetterman.
