German sportswear giant Adidas has decided to end its partnership with controversial rapper Kanye West, who in recent weeks has been spouting vile antisemitism, Bloomberg reported Tuesday morning.

The decision could be announced as early as Tuesday, the report said, citing sources who asked to remain anonymous, saying the discussions were private.

A company representative did not respond to the business site’s request for comment.

West had already been dropped by Gap and Kering SA, as well as by his talent agency and MRC Studios, over his antisemitic tirades.

Adidas shares fell as much as 3.2% in Frankfurt trading, reaching the lowest since April 2016, according to Bloomberg.

“The Adidas decision follows weeks of deliberations inside the company, which over the past decade has built the Yeezy line — together with Ye — into a brand that’s accounted for as much as 8% of Adidas’s total sales, according to several estimates from Wall Street analysts,” the site reported.

Adidas believes it owns the intellectual property to the products from the collaboration with West and could therefore continue producing the models, according to one of the company’s anonymous sources.

Following a comment by Fox News anchor Raymond Arroyo comparing ex-Jewish NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg to a “puppet master,” the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) sent a letter to the network condemning the use of the anti-Semitic trope.

“This charge, and the comments that followed about Bloomberg’s wealth and power, play into deep seated anti-Semitic canards about Jewish power and money,” wrote Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt.

“The use of the term ‘puppet master’ specifically conjures up longstanding anti-Semitic tropes about Jewish power, and the notion of the Jewish puppeteer has figured in anti-Semitic imagery throughout modern history,” he added.

Greenblatt also took to Twitter to blast the anchor’s comments by calling it “disturbing” and unfortunate that “rhetoric from white supremacists & other antisemites” was said on live TV.

On Thursday night’s broadcast of the “The Ingraham Angle,” Arroyo said that Bloomberg’s recent endorsement of former Vice President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign will help him become Biden’s “puppet master.”

“Joe Biden won’t actually be in charge of the things if he is elected president. He will be a geriatric Pinocchio whose strings will be pulled by the politicians, activists, or donors currently propping him up. That includes big donor Mike Bloomberg,” Arroyo said.

“Mike Bloomberg is going to have more power than any ordinary American will in a Biden administration,” he said.

This is not the first time that a Fox News anchor has suggested that a wealthy Jew controls events from behind the scenes.

Last September, Fox Business host Lou Dobbs claimed that George Soros uses his “tentacles” to influence nonprofits and other non-government organizations.

“It is extraordinary and I think most people, I’ll include myself, cannot conceive of why a man would fund efforts that would work against sovereignty… and to see his tentacles reach out into various non-government organizations and nonprofits,” Dobbs said at the time.

Israel ranks sixth in the world in health care efficiency, according to Bloomberg’s annual health care index published last month. It came in first in the Middle East.

The country only trails Hong Kong, Singapore, Spain, Italy, and South Korea. In the Middle East, only one other country made it into the top 10 – the United Arab Emirates.

Israel’s 2018 ranking (6^th) is a one spot improvement from 2017.

The health-efficiency index used by Bloomberg for these rankings included only the 56 countries with average life spans of at least 70 years, a GDP per-capita exceeding $5,000, and a minimum population of 5 million.

There are three weighted components of the Bloomberg index: life expectancy (60%), national per capita health care spending as a proportion of GDP (30%), and per capita spending on health in dollars (10%). With a weighted rating of 67, Israel was once again recognized as one of the top countries in the world for healthcare efficiency.

According to Bloomberg, “Rankings can change substantially year-over-year because of such things as recession, currency fluctuations and volatile spending patterns relative to the slow pace of improvement in life expectancy.”
