IDF forces from the Samaria Brigade demolished the home of terrorist Maalek al-Jaber Salem on Wednesday in the village of Bazaria in Samaria, following the deadly combined shooting and stabbing attack he carried out earlier this year.

According to the IDF, the demolition was carried out in response to the July 10, 2025 terror attack at the Gush Etzion Junction, in which 22-year-old Israeli security guard Shalev Zevuloni was murdered.

Salem carried out the attack together with another terrorist in a coordinated shooting and stabbing assault at the Rami Levy shopping complex in Gush Etzion.

The two attackers arrived at the scene in a stolen vehicle with Israeli license plates and targeted Zevuloni at the entrance to the supermarket.

Armed with knives, the terrorists stabbed Zevuloni multiple times, seized his handgun, and then shot him at close range. They attempted to continue the attack and enter the store to target civilians before being neutralized by security forces.

The demolition of Salem’s home was conducted as part of Israel’s counterterrorism policy aimed at deterring future attacks. IDF forces continue to operate throughout Judea and Samaria to disrupt terrorist infrastructure and prevent further attacks on Israeli civilians.

Overnight IDF troops demolished the home of the terrorist responsible for the deadly shooting attack at the Jaffa Light Rail station, where seven civilians were murdered and 15 others wounded.

The operation, carried out in the city of Hebron, was led by forces from the Yehuda Regional Brigade in coordination with the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit.

The demolished apartment belonged to Ahmed Rafiq Muhammad Al-Himoni, one of the terrorists who participated in the October 1, 2024, attack that targeted Israeli and foreign civilians in Jaffa.

According to the IDF, the demolition was conducted using controlled explosives that destroyed only Al-Himoni’s unit, located on the second floor of a five-story building.

The army said the operation was carefully executed to minimize collateral damage to neighboring apartments.

Footage circulated on Palestinian media showed the moment of detonation, with a section of the structure collapsing in a cloud of debris.

The terrorists were Mohammad Mesek, 19, who was killed at the scene, and Ahmed al-Himoni, 25, who was seriously injured.

Both men were Hamas members from the city of Hebron who were in Israel proper without a permit.

The IDF reiterated that, as part of Israel’s counterterrorism policy, homes of terrorists involved in deadly attacks are subject to demolition, which is a measure intended to deter future acts of terrorism.

Israeli forces have demolished the home of the terrorist behind the deadly Sept. 8 shooting at Jerusalem’s Ramot Junction, the Israel Defense Forces announced on Saturday night. The home was located in the village of Al-Qubeiba near Ramallah.

The terrorist, Muthanna Amro, was killed during the Sept. 8 attack by a member of the IDF’s ultra-Orthodox Hasmonean Brigade.

The Hamas terrorist group claimed responsibility for the shooting, praising Amro and his accomplice, Mohammad Taha, for having succeeded in “killing Zionists and wounding others, some of them critically, before ascending to their Lord as martyrs, facing the enemy without turning back.”

The Israel Defense Forces announced on Tuesday that it would be demolishing the Samaria homes of four terrorists responsible for murdering six Israelis and wounding nine others.

The confiscation and demolition orders were issued by the IDF after the families of the terrorists, all of whom had been killed by security forces, were given the opportunity to challenge the decision in an Israeli court.

The first two orders targeted the residences of Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s Mohammad Nazal and Mohammad Zakarneh in Qabatiya, near Jenin in northern Samaria.

The two were part of a cell that carried out a Jan. 6 shooting near the town of Al-Funduq in which three Israelis were slain.

Another order was issued for the home of Wael Lahlouh, a Qabatiya resident responsible for the Aug. 11 Jordan Valley shooting in which Yonatan Deutsch, 23, was murdered and another Israeli was wounded.

The fourth home to be demolished is that of Mohammad Daraghmeh, of Tubas, near Nablus, who killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded eight, including two seriously, at an army post near the village of Tayasir on the morning of Feb. 4.

The demolition of terrorists’ homes has been a subject of controversy for years. Israel’s security establishment believes that the policy bolsters deterrence and prevents further terrorist activity.

In 2023, demolitions were virtually halted, according to an Israel Hayom investigation carried out with the Im Tirtzu NGO.

However, in the wake of Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, massacre, the military has picked up the pace, issuing orders for a significant number of terrorists’ residences.

Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar slammed the Oscar award given Sunday to a joint Israeli-Palestinian documentary that casts Israel in a “distorted” negative light.

“The Oscar win for the film ‘No Other Country’ is a sad moment for the world of cinema. Instead of presenting the complexity of our reality, the filmmakers chose to echo narratives that distort Israel’s image in the world,” Zohar posted to X.

“Freedom of expression is an important value, but turning the slander of Israel into a tool for international promotion is not creativity; it is sabotage of the State of Israel, and after the massacre of October 7 and the ongoing war, it doubly hurts,” he added.

In his acceptance speech, the movie’s chief protagonist, Basel Adra, called Israel’s actions “ethnic cleansing,” and said that he hoped that his newborn daughter “will not have to live the same life I’m living now, always fearing settlers, violence, home demolitions, and forcible displacements. We call on the world to take serious actions to stop the injustice.”

His Israeli film partner, Yuval Abraham, appealed to the American government to stop helping to “block” what he called “a different path, a political solution without ethnic supremacy, with national rights for both of our people.”

He also told the audience that “the terrible destruction of Gaza must end. The Israeli hostages who were taken in the crimes of October 7th must be released.”

Abraham has been condemned in Israel when, in acceptance speeches at previous awards ceremonies, he spoke about Gaza being devastated while not even mentioning the fact that Hamas had taken 251 hostages during its October 7, 2023, invasion of Israel, 62 of whom are still in captivity. More than half among them are known to be dead.

The film describes the efforts of Palestinian and Israeli activists to stop repeated demolitions of homes and evictions from the Masafer Yatta group of Palestinian villages in the South Hebron Hills, which are located in an official IDF firing zone — a closed military site.

The villagers have appealed several times to Israel’s highest court since 1999, when the government first issued eviction orders to Masafer Yatta residents.

In 2022, the High Court of Justice ruled that there were no legal barriers to expelling the residents to enable military training.

Since then, the Civil Administration has occasionally sent in bulldozers and men to demolish a few houses or other structures, confiscate vehicles and equipment, and issue “stop work” orders to block theexpansion of the villages, which received no permits to build due to their illegal status.

International pressure has successfully prevented any wholesale destruction of the 13 tiny communities. Only two have been taken down so far, according to the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), which noted that in 2022, there were a total of 215 Palestinian households in the area, with about 1,150 people in all.

Unlike many films made in Israel, the documentary received no government support due to its negative portrayal of the country, and it is labeled officially as a Palestinian-Norwegian film.

The award for Best Documentary Film was reportedly going to be presented by Israeli actress Gal Gadot, but ultimately, it was presented by Samuel L. Jackson and Selena Gomez.

The Israeli army destroyed a home belonging to a Palestinian man who brutally murdered a 14-year-old Israeli boy on Wednesday.

In the early hours of the morning, armed soldiers, accompanied by IDF bulldozers, excavators, and other heavy vehicles, cordoned off the terrorist’s home in the Palestinian Authority-administered village of Duma, south of Nablus (Schem.)

A video of the house demolition released by the IDF Spokesperson’s office showed the three-story home reduced to a pile of rubble.

The demolition proceeded according to plan and no troops were injured in the process, the IDF said in a statement.

A resident of the home, Ahmed Dawabsha, murdered 14-year-old Benjamin Achimeir in April.

Achimeir left Malachei Shalom, a Jewish town south of Duma, to tend to his flock of sheep in a rural area outside of the community.

On April 12th, he was reported missing by his family after failing to return home.

His body, which showed signs he was murdered in a terrorist attack, was discovered a day later.

After a manhunt that lasted nearly two weeks, the Shin Bet intelligence agency arrested Dawabsha, 21.

According to Hebrew-language media reports, Dawabsha “implicated himself” in the attack.

The demolition of Dawabsha’s family home came on the orders of the head of the IDF Central Command, Maj. Gen Yehuda Fox.

The terrorist’s family had launched an appeal aimed at overturning the demolition order, but a court rejected their petition.

Shocking security camera footage from the time of the attack, recently made public, showed Dawabsha lurking near the entrance to Malachei Shalom, armed with a knife.

“The footage showing the terrorist casually wandering with a knife, waiting for his next victim, highlights a significant lapse” in the investigation process for missing persons in Judea and Samaria, said MK Tzvi Sukkot.

“Real-time release of this footage could have expedited many processes.”

Spokesman for bulldozed outpost calls on Religious Zionism chair to intervene, says demolition is an act of retaliation for recent clash between settlers and Palestinians that turned deadly.

The Israeli military destroyed a number of buildings, including homes, near the Jewish community of Kochav HaShahar in the Binyamin region of Judea and Samaria on Monday morning.

The demolition sparking outcry from settlers who slammed Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich for allowing the bulldozing of the sites to move forward.

Smotrich, the chairman of the Religious Zionism party, has repeatedly promised that the coalition would support the building and expansion of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

Several months ago, after the IDF bulldozed a vineyard owned by a Jewish family, Smotrich pledged to ensure that similar incidents would not occur during his time in office.

But early Monday morning, soldiers and security forces from the Civil Administration – a quasi-military entity responsible for construction in Judea and Samaria – began demolishing homes and other structures on the outskirts of Kochav HaShahar. At least 20 buildings were destroyed, and one settler who clashed with police was arrested.

The demolition order came after local Palestinians claimed that the empty hilltop, which was not used for agriculture and was empty of of any structures, was part of their village’s territory. They charged that the Jewish settlers had appropriated their private land, and the Israeli government and Civil Administration appeared to accept that allegation.

A spokesman from the outpost expressed his displeasure with Smotrich and the coalition in a media statement, accusing the “right-wing government of continuing the legacy of Lapid and Gantz by damaging Jewish homes and settlements.”

The statement also referred to the arrest of Elisha Yered, a Jewish man who is currently under arrest for shooting a Palestinian in what he says was an act of self-defense.

The demolition “comes a week after bloodshed against heroic settlers who defended themselves,” the spokesman said.

“After the lies of the IDF spokesman who adopted the Arab version of the events in Burka were revealed, now comes the revenge,” he continued, saying that he believed the demolition was an act of retaliation as the “murder case they’re trying to [frame] on Yered falls apart.”

The statement added that it was “shocking that Smotrich is choosing to fight settlements.”

None of the right-wing parties nor lawmakers who have supported settlements made a public statement regarding the demolition on Monday morning.

Israeli forces overnight demolished the home of the Palestinian terrorist who murdered Hallel and Yagel Yaniv in Huwara in Samaria on Feb. 26, the Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday.

Hamas member Abdel Fattah Hussein Kharousha shot and killed the brothers while they were stuck in traffic on Route 60, which runs through the Arab village. Kharousha was killed by IDF soldiers on March 7.

Kharousha’s home in the Askar refugee camp on the outskirts of Shechem (Nablus) was mapped for possible demolition in late March. The demolition order was announced on May 11.

During the demolition operation, Israeli forces were attacked with stones, explosives and burning tires. Soldiers responded with crowd dispersal measures.

No casualties were reported.

According to a public opinion poll, 71% of Palestinians support the murder of the Yanivs, with only 21% of those surveyed saying they were against it.

The Israel Defense Forces demolished the home of Palestinian terrorist Kamel Jouri in Shechem (Nablus) on Thursday morning.

Jouri and another terrorist killed Staff-Sgt. Ido Baruch, 21, in a drive-by shooting near Shavei Shomron in northern Samaria in February.

During Thursday’s demolition operation in the city’s Mahfiya neighborhood, explosives were thrown and shots were fired at Israeli troops. Stones and burning tires were also thrown.

Israeli forces last week demolished the Nablus home of the second terrorist, Osama Tawil.

Last month, the IDF mapped for demolition the home, also in Nablus, of Hasam Bassam Bashir Aslim, who directed the attack.

Baruch was securing a civilian march near Shavei Shomron when he was shot from a moving vehicle. He was evacuated to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba, where he died of his wounds.

Israeli forces arrested Tawil and Jouri in February.

Homes of Eli terrorists mapped for demolition

On Wednesday night, the IDF mapped for demolition the homes of the terrorists who killed four Israeli civilians and wounded four others near the town of Eli in the Binyamin region of Samaria.

Muhannad Faleh Shehadeh, 24, and Khaled Mustafa Sabah, 25, were members of Hamas. Both came from the village of Urif, near Nablus.

The attack took place at the entrance to a restaurant at a gas station on Route 60 located below Eli, which is north of Ramallah and south of Nablus (Shechem).

Shehadeh was shot dead by an Israeli civilian at the scene of the attack, while Sabrah fled the scene in a stolen vehicle which he abandoned for a taxi. He was killed by Israeli special forces some two hours after the attack.

Six terror suspects apprehended in Judea and Samaria

IDF, Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Border Police forces arrested six terror suspects throughout Judea and Samaria and in the Jordan Valley region overnight Wednesday.

Four of the suspects were captured during operations in the villages of Doha, Ubeidiya, Silwad and the Dheisheh refugee camp near Bethlehem.

Violent clashes erupted in Doha, and the fighters responded with non-lethal measures to disperse rioters, according to the IDF. During the operation in the Dheisheh refugee camp, suspects threw stones and launched fireworks at the forces.

The fifth suspect, a resident of the Aqbat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho, was involved in shooting attacks against IDF forces, according to the military.

The final suspect was arrested in Hebron. Three guns, ammunition and radios were found during the operation, according to the IDF.

No Israeli casualties were reported.

Forces from the IDF and the Border Police destroyed the home of Osama Tawil, the terrorist who murdered an Israeli soldier last October, overnight in the Rafidia neighborhood of Shechem (Nablus).

The terrorist carried out a shooting attack together with another terrorist on October 11, 2022, during which a Givati infantry patrol soldier, First Sergeant Ido Baruch, was killed.

During the operation, terrorists opened fire on the Israeli forces, prompting soldiers and Border Police officers to return fire.

At three terrorists were shot during the resulting gun battle.

According to the Palestinian Authority’s health ministry, one wounded terrorist, identified as 20-year-old Khalil Anis, later succumbed to his injuries.

The PA’s WAFA outlet reported that one of the other wounded terrorists is listed in critical condition.

In addition, suspects threw explosives, shot fireworks and threw Molotov cocktails at the Israeli security personnel. IDF and Border Police forces responded with tear gas and stun grenades, WAFA said.

There were no casualties reported among the Israeli forces.
