Make-A-Wish Israel has granted dreams to more than 6,000 children since its founding, and last night’s philanthropic event highlighted and celebrated the remarkable impact of the organization’s work.

Fourteen hikers braved the elements and extreme temperatures to complete a seven-day, 5,895-meter (19,340-foot) climb up Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, on behalf of Make-A-Wish Israel, in an effort to raise awareness and to make a positive impact on children with life-threatening illnesses.
