Now a Texan congressman, Dr. Ronny Jackson said the president’s mental decline endangers national security.

The White House doctor during the Obama-Biden administration said Saturday that it is obvious to him that President Joe Biden has declined mentally since his years as vice president and that he is not fit to serve as the country’s leader.

“I watched the man every day, you know, in and around the West Wing for eight years when he was vice president. There’s a drastic, drastic difference between then and now,” Dr. Ronny Jackson, who is now a Texan Republican congressman, told Fox News Digital.

Americans don’t need a medical degree to see the change, according to Jackson.

“Go back and look at the videos from whenever he was first vice president and compare them to now. It’s not even the same person,” he stated. “He’s got some serious issues.”

The congressman said that last week’s report by the special counsel investigating Biden’s allegedly improper possession of top-secret documents which described the president as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” was backed by “all kinds of gaffes” Biden has made since then, as well as for the last three years.

Last Tuesday, Biden seemingly blanked on the name “Hamas” when talking to reporters about a possible hostage deal in Israel’s months-long war on the terror group, calling it “the opposition.” He also called Egypt’s president the leader of Mexico at the same press conference.

After the report came out, Biden defended his memory skills and insisted that he was still the “best man” in the country to be president.

Jackson, who is a former admiral in the U.S. Navy, thinks differently, saying there is a real danger now to America’s national security.

“He’s cognitively unfit to be our commander in chief, and it’s going to be a problem for us,” he said. “It’s a real national security issue. I mean, it’s always been a national security issue, but it’s a national security issue that just gets worse by the day.”

“We have lots of stuff going on overseas,” the GOP lawmaker continued. “Our adversaries absolutely, positively have no respect for us. They have no fear of us and our allies. I mean, they don’t trust us, and they don’t really know if we’re going to be there if something bad happens.”

Last February, after the president received his annual physical that made no mention of a psychological exam, Jackson told Fox that he had sent the White House three letters already “demanding that Biden receive a cognitive test and that the results be made public, all of which have been ignored. Everyone can see something is wrong — the cover-up needs to end.”

While many Democrats attempted to deflect the concerns raised in the report by attacking Republicans for “pouncing” on Biden, former presidential candidate and secretary of state Hillary Clinton acknowledged to MSNBC that his age was “a legitimate issue.”

She then added immediately that it’s “a legitimate issue” for Republican front-runner Donald Trump as well, since he is “only three years younger, right?”

The Democratic powerhouse suggested that a good elections tactic would be for Biden to “kid more” about his age, and “lean into the fact that he’s experienced, and that experience is not just in the political arena, it’s like, the stuff of, you know, human experience, character, wisdom.”

Democrats were outraged that someone noticed something obvious to anyone who has ever watched Biden speak.

President Joe Biden is too old and incompetent to stand trial for mishandling classified documents, according to a report from the special counsel appointed by the Justice Department to oversee the case.

Biden presented himself during interviews as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” who repeatedly forgot key details about his own life, Special Counsel Robert Hur wrote in the bombshell report.

Democrats and their allies in the media were outraged that Hur noticed something plainly obvious to anyone who has ever watched Biden speak in public.

Left-wing journalists covered the news the way they always do when something bad happens to a Democrat—they accused Republicans of “pouncing” and “seizing.”

The New York Times wrote: “Republicans pounce on report that puts spotlight on Biden’s memory lapses.” Axios reported: “Trump, Haley seize on Biden special counsel report.”

It would have been more accurate to say that Biden and his defenders “pounced” on the special counsel for his blunt description of the president’s cognitive decline.

Biden held an emergency press conference Thursday evening to insist that he was, in fact, competent to stand trial for mishandling classified information.

Biden scolded critics for questioning his memory, then proceeded to mix up Egypt and Mexico while discussing Hamas, the terrorist group whose name he couldn’t remember earlier this week.

One Democratic lawmaker told Axios the White House should not have scheduled the press conference “that late at night.” (It was 7:45 p.m.)

After the release of the special counsel’s report, former Republican presidential candidate and Trump supporter Vivek Ramaswamy told Fox News that he was convinced the Democrats will replace Biden with Michelle Obama on their 2024 presidential ticket.

President Joe Biden could not recall when he served as vice president or when his son Beau died, according to a Special Counsel report released Thursday.

Department of Justice investigators say that “Biden’s memory was worse” than in previous interviews when he appeared in their office on Oct. 8, 2023. That day, the president “did not remember when he was vice president,” nor could he “remember, within several years, when his son Beau died.”

The report, which follows an investigation into the president’s mishandling of classified documents, raises serious questions about Biden’s mental fitness as voters worry about his age. Special Counsel Robert Hur declined to bring charges against Biden, stating that a jury would find the president to be “a well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

The Special Counsel’s report details specific incidents where Biden appeared confused. Biden did not appear to know when his vice presidential term ended, asking investigators “if it was 2013 — when did I stop being Vice President?” and expressing uncertainty as to whether he “was still Vice President” in 2009.

Biden served as vice president from 2009 to 2017. Beau Biden died in 2015.

Investigators write that Biden’s “memory appeared hazy when describing the Afghanistan debate that was once so important to him” and that in interviews he spoke as if he “had a real difference of opinion with General Eikenberry.” General Karl Eikenberry was a top Biden ally in the Obama administration, who shared the then-vice president’s views on Afghanistan.

Biden’s poor memory, the report states, would likely be an argument “his attorneys would emphasize” in a courtroom. Biden’s mental “limitations” were a potential defensive hurdle which Justice Department attorneys would not have been able to surmount, the Special Counsel determined.

Shortly after the report’s release, Biden said in a statement that he “was pleased to see they reached the conclusion I believed all along they would reach.”

“Over my career in public service, I have always worked to protect America’s security,” the statement reads. “I take these issues seriously and no one has ever questioned that.”

Biden also says in the statement that he sat for “five hours of in-person interviews over two days on October 8th and 9th of last year,” one day after Hamas terrorists attacked Israel.

Reached for comment, White House spokesman Andrew Bates referred the Washington Free Beacon to a statement from White House counsel Richard Sauber and Biden’s personal attorney, Bob Bauer, which denies that the “report’s treatment of President Biden’s memory is accurate or appropriate.”

“The report uses highly prejudicial language to describe a commonplace occurrence among witnesses; a lack of recall of years-old events,” Sauber and Bauer say.
