US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman on Monday visited the family of Yotam Ovadia, who was murdered in a stabbing attack Thursday night.

Friedman reportedly told Ovadia’s widow Tal that he was heartbroken to see the tragic impact of the murder on the family. In addition to his wife, two small children survive Ovadia.

Friedman added that words were not sufficient to capture the extent of the evil perpetrated by the terrorists.

Ovadia, 31, was murdered by a 17-year-old terrorist who managed to enter the town of Adam in Samaria.

Ovadia was laid to rest on Friday.

Friedman paid a visit to the Ovadia family in Adam during the seven-day mourning period prescribed by Judaism.

On his twitter feed, Friedman condemned the terrorist attack in Adam:

“Shocked to hear of the brutal terror attack in Adam that left 31 year-old Yotam Ovadia dead and two others injured. My heartfelt prayers for all the families. All life is sacred, but premeditated murder cries out for condemnation. Not hearing it from Palestinian leadership.”
