(Levend Ali/AP)(Levend Ali/AP)US-led airstrike on ISIS kills at least 52 civilians, including childrenA US-led coalition airstrike against ISIS in northern Syria kills scores of civilians.By: Aryeh Savir, World Israel NewsAn air strike by the US-led coalition against the Islamic State (ISIS) terror organization in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo on Friday claimed the lives of 52 civilians, including seven children from six different families, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a group monitoring the Syrian civil war, said on Saturday.The number of casualties is expected to rise to 65, as 13 persons are still missing.SOHR released a statement condemning, “in the strongest terms, this massacre” committed by the US led coalition “under the pretext of targeting the Islamic State. “We call the coalition countries to refer who committed this massacre to the courts, as we renew our calls to neutralize all civilian areas from military operations by all parties.”US and Arab forces have been carrying out daily air raids against Islamist terror groups in Syria and Iraq since September. Coalition air strikes have claimed hundreds of civilian lives.Washington previously said that it takes reports of civilian casualties from the US-led strikes seriously and that it has a process to investigate each allegation.It is not known which army from the coalition carried out the Friday attack.
