WATCH: Man tries stealing Olympic torch

Police arrested a man who tried stealing the Olympic torch on the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Sunday morning before being tackled to the ground.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, also assaulted a member of the National Security Force. Police carried the man away, and the procession continued.

Security remains on high alert and suspects have been arrested amid reports of Islamic terrorists planning to carry out attacks at the games in Rio de Janeiro next month.
