WATCH: Syrian activist calls for alliance with Israel, labels pan-Arabism ‘cancer’

Syrian opposition activist and writer Issam Zeitoun defended Israel in a debate on Al-Jazeera Network (Qatar) on January 16.

Zeitoun said that Israel is not expansionist and only wants to be left alone. He said that Iran is far more dangerous to the region. He also said that pan-Arabism is a “cancer” that has brought the Arab nation to the “verge of annihilation.”
