WATCH: US delegation heading to Israel to begin Embassy move

A group of diplomats, lawyers, and engineers from the United States will travel to Jerusalem next week to begin the conversion of the US Consulate property into the temporary US Embassy in Jerusalem.  The new embassy is expected to begin operations on May 14th, Israel’s Independence Day.
