Israeli hostage was murdered by Gazan doctor, says father

Father of IDF soldier taken captive on Oct. 7 says his daughter was murdered by a doctor in Gaza’s infamous al-Shifa Hospital after Hamas feared she would be rescued – with the terror group then falsely claiming she was killed in an IDF bombing.

An IDF soldier who was taken hostage on Oct. 7 and forced into the Gaza Strip was murdered by a Gazan doctor a week before she was located and retrieved by Israeli forces, her father revealed this week.

On Tuesday, Avi Marciano met with activists and shared details of his daughter’s final moments. Video footage from the meeting was later uploaded to social media.

Marciano’s daughter, 19-year-old IDF Cpl. Noa Marciano, was one of seven female Israeli soldiers taken captive on Oct. 7, 2023, and held in the Gaza Strip.

On Nov. 19, Israeli forces managed to locate Marciano’s remains and return them to Israel.

Shortly before her rescue, Hamas released a video of Marciano’s body, blaming Israel for her death.

Her father rebutted Hamas’ claims, however, telling activists that the family received a video via social media showing Noa’s murder at the hands of a doctor in the Gaza Strip.

While Avi said that his daughter was in fact injured in an IDF bombing, her injuries were light and not life-threatening.

As Israeli forces approached the location where she was being held, Hamas terrorists feared Noa would be rescued, prompting a Gazan doctor who was caring for her to murder her.

According to her father, Noa was murdered by an intentionally induced air embolism, after the doctor purposely injected air into her veins.

“A medical professional decided to murder her,” Avi said. “Noa is begging for her life,” he added, noting that by the end of the video, “they can see Noa, and she’s sweating but there’s no life in her body.”
