Rocket fired at Israel from Gaza causes no injuries

Gaza-based terrorists launched a rocket at Israel but caused no injuries or damage.

Palestinian terrorists launched a rocket from the Gaza Strip towards Israel on Sunday morning. It exploded in the South, but failed to cause any damage or casualties.

The alarm system in Israel did not go off.

Since Operation Protective Edge in the summer of 2014, there have been multiple rockets attacks from Gaza. Dozens of projectiles have exploded in Israeli territory, often prompting an Israeli response.

Israel hold Hamas, which rules the Strip, responsible for any attacks launched from Gaza.

Hamas praised the terror attack in Samaria Friday night that claimed the lives of three family members. The terror organization is protesting the installation of metal detectors on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in the wake of another deadly attack a week earlier on the holy site.
