Palestinian-American anti-Israel ‘feminist’ Linda Sarsour accused of enabling sex offender

Is Linda Sarsour, a Palestinian-American BDS activist and alleged defender of women’s rights, is on the wrong side of the #MeToo movement?

Linda Sarsour, a Brooklyn-born Palestinian-American Muslim and one of the main organizers of the “Women’s March” that was held in January 2017 in reaction to President Donald Trump’s election victory, is accused of covering up for a sexual predator and even enabling him rather than helping a fellow employee suffering from his assaults.

According to organizers, the Women’s March – the largest single-day demonstration in history – was meant to “send a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office and to the world that women’s rights are human rights.” Close to half a million people participated in the US, and an estimated five million joined worldwide.

Speaking at the event, Sarsour, also a BDS activist and ally of convicted Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh, managed to include her anti-Israel agenda, saying, “”Most of all, I am my Palestinian grandmother who lives in occupied territories’ wildest dream! Justice for all.”

‘You could hear me scream at the top of my lungs’

As reported in The Daily Caller, Asmi Fathelbab, an employee of Americorps who worked at the Arab American Association of New York in 2009, running its youth program, was allegedly assaulted throughout her year of employment by a man who lived above the Association’s offices and had the run of the building.

Majed Seif would pin her against the wall when nobody was around and abuse her, said Fathelbab. “You could hear me scream at the top of my lungs,” she told the blog. He would also sneak up behind her when she was bending down, talking to small children, and take advantage of her helplessness.

“You have no idea what it was like to stand up and feel that behind you. I couldn’t scream because I didn’t want to scare the child in front of me. It left me shaking,” she said.

Victim: Sarsour destroyed my livelihood

But when she went to Sarsour, then executive director of the Association, Sarsour dismissed her claims outright, calling her a liar, Fathelbab said. Moreover, the prominent women’s rights advocate enabled the attacks to continue. “She told me he had the right to sue me for false claims,” Fathelbab recalled, adding that she was once forced to talk to a detective about the consequences of making false claims to the authorities.

Sarsour was so angry at her repeated requests for help, Fathelbab says, that she threatened her future livelihood. “She told me I’d never work in NYC ever again for as long as she lived. She’s kept her word. She had me fired from other jobs when she found out where I worked. She has kept me from obtaining any sort of steady employment for almost a decade.”

When speaking against Trump at the Islamic Society of North America convention this past July, Sarsour spoke of the need to shield the more defenseless members of society, saying, “Our obligation is to our young people, is to our women, to make sure our women are protected in our community.”
