BDS activist ignores slaughter of Jews, praises Palestinian ‘resistance’

Prominent BDS advocate Linda Sarsour praises Muslim protests at the Temple Mount, while refusing to acknowledge the murder of innocent Israeli victims by Palestinian terrorists.

Muslim-American radical activist Linda Sarsour, who inserted her anti-Israel agenda in the 2017 Women’s March she had led after US President Donald Trump’s inauguration, continues her campaign against the Jewish state, whitewashing Palestinian terrorism.

Sarsour, who recently came under fire for encouraging “jihad” against the Trump administration, took to Facebook Sunday to post about the current status of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, where three Arab terrorists opened fire a little over one week ago, killing two Druze Israeli policemen. In the aftermath of that attack, the Israeli government required worshipers at the site to pass through metal detectors.

In response to these developments, Sarsour posted: “Denied access to pray at Al Aqsa Mosque in their own homeland, Palestinians pray on the streets in an act of non-violent resistance.” In truth, Muslims are permitted to pray on the Temple Mount, provided they undergo the security screening necessitated by the recent terrorist attack there.

Contrary to Sarsour’s post, Palestinian “resistance” following the installation of metal detectors has been far from “non-violent.” In reality, Palestinians have rioted and caused mayhem in reaction to the security measures.

Most heartbreaking was that in addition to violent clashes on the streets of Jerusalem and elsewhere, a 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist named Omar al-Abed stabbed to death three Jews in their home on Friday night as the Jewish Sabbath began.

The victims were family members who had gathered to celebrate the birth of a baby boy in Halamish, which is situated in the Samaria region of Israel. The terrorist killed the baby’s grandfather, aunt and uncle. Prior to carrying out the attack, the terrorist posted on Facebook that he was going to “die for Al Aqsa,” an apparent reference to the motive for the heinous crime.

Sarsour’s Sunday Facebook post made no mention of the atrocities perpetrated against innocent Jewish victims.

Prior to the controversy Sarsour generated for her comments encouraging jihad, the advocate for boycotts against Israel was denounced for saying she felt “honored” to share a stage at a New York college with Rasmea Odeh, a Palestinian terrorist responsible for the killing and maiming of Jews in a Jerusalem grocery store bombing.
