Political leaders around the world expressed messages of solidarity with the United Kingdom after a terror attack on London Bridge late Saturday night left 7 dead and scores wounded.“In the fight against every form of terrorism, we stand firmly and with determination at Britain’s side,” said German Chancellor Angela Merkel.“Today, we are united beyond all borders in horror and sorrow, but also in determination.”Newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron conveyed similar remarks.“In the face of this new tragedy, France is more than ever at Britain’s side,” Macron said.US President Donald Trump also posted a message of solidarity with the UK, arguably America’s closest ally, on social media.“Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the UK, we will be there,” Trump wrote. “WE ARE WITH YOU.
