Demonstrators gathered outside Netanyahu’s office in Jerusalem on Sunday demanding that he take action against the terrorists in Judea and Samaria.

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office in Jerusalem on Sunday morning demanding that the government order an operation to destroy the terrorist infrastructure, Israel Hayom reports.
Education Minister Naftali Bennett and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, both of the Jewish Home Party, as well as heads of regional councils in Judea and Samaria, attended the protest, the paper reports.
Leader of the Binyamin Regional Council Israel Gantz, said to those gathered: “Last week, on the last candle lighting of Chanukah, we lit candles at the Ofra junction, and 10 minutes later a burst of gunfire cut threw the festivities…
“And since then we have met with the prime minister and the chief of staff, but it looks like the personal treatment is no deterrent. To search after murderers isn’t enough and we have to deal with those who send them,” Gantz said.
“We are here to demand that settlements aren’t a question mark, like the settlement of Ofra, which hasn’t been regulated for 43 years,” said Gantz, demanding that the government order an “Operation Center Shield” – playing off Operation Northern Shield currently underway to destroy Hezbollah tunnels.
Gantz also urged the government to restore checkpoints to make the roads safe again.
Shomron Regional Council head Yossi Dagan echoed Gantz’s words, demanding an IDF operation the return of roadblocks meant to deter Palestinian terrorists. “We do not want to hide behind concrete barriers,” Dagan said, according to Israel Hayom.
Shlomo Ne’eman, head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, demanded that the Netanyahu government turn “Judea and Samaria into a sovereign part of the state.”
“Settlement is still called illegal. To this day, Jews living here can not live in safety. The terrorist group from Ramallah should understand that it doesn’t pay, that it will ruin their lives, turn them into hell, that they won’t have money left for candy. We demand that we win the war,” he said, according to Israel Hayom.
