An Israeli security guard in his 20s was stabbed and seriously wounded outside Jerusalem’s central bus station early Sunday afternoon.
United Hatzalah volunteer EMS first responders say the victim was stabbed in the upper chest. He was evacuated to Shaare Zedek hospital for treatment.
Security forces neutralized the attacker, who was wounded in the head, the volunteers said, adding that numerous people suffered from emotional shock at the scene.
The terrorist, 24, a resident of a village in northern Samaria, near Shechem (Nablus), had entered the area illegally, according to the Shin Bet, Israel’s security agency.
