Candace Owens to debate Orthodox rabbi this week

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach pledges to ‘destroy’ controversial right-wing pundit Candace Owens in debate hosted by Piers Morgan.

Author and Jewish activist Rabbi Shmuley Boteach is set to debate controversial right-wing commentator Candace Owens this week, during an episode of Piers Morgan’s eponymous show, Boteach announced last week.

The two are slated to debate on Piers Morgan Uncensored this Wednesday, nearly six months after the two feuded over antisemitic conspiracy theories peddled by by Owens.

In a series of tweets, Boteach pledged to “destroy America’s antisemite Candace Owens” in Wednesday’s debate, referencing Owens’ espousal of the classic antisemitic blood libel claim that Jews used the blood of Christian children to make Passover matzahs.

“I will take down Candace Owens @realcandaceo in our upcoming @piersmorganuncensoreddebate this coming Wednesday completely and utterly God willing.”

“YOU HAVE MY WORD AND GUARANTEE that with God’s blessing HER DAYS AS A PUBLIC ANTISEMITE WILL END ALONG WITH HER REPUTATION. SHE WILL BE EVISCERATED IN THE DEBATE.”

Boteach also noted Owens’ defense of Nazi Germany, comparing the regime’s genocide of Jews, Gypsies, and homoserxuals favorably to the expulsion of ethnic Germans following the Potsdam Conference.

“There is no room in America for a medieval antisemite who says Jews drink Christian blood, Rabbis are murderers, and that in World War 2 the Nazis were the good guys and the allies ethnically cleansed the Germans. I will follow in the brave footsteps of Candace’s own long-suffering father-in-law Lord Farmer who repudiated her revolting Jew-hatred publicly,“ Boteach continued.

The 57-year-old rabbi also ripped Owens’ former employer, The Daily Wire cofounder Ben Shapiro, saying Shapiro “created Candace then left her antisemitism as a mess for American Jewry to clean up, after their profits.”

The two tussled in March over Owens’ accusations that Israel is committing “genocide” in the Gaza Strip.

During the feud, Owens referred to Boteach’s daughter as a “hag,” and has repeatedly invoked antisemitic canards, suggested President John Kennedy was assassinated by Zionist conspirators, and claimed that “secret Jewish gangs” operating in Hollywood were committing “horrific acts.”
