There’s a new wrinkle in a story that Tuesday about Cleveland Clinic doctor Lara Kollab, 27, who has a long history of viciously anti-Semitic social media posts. It turns out that she attended an Orthodox Jewish college.

Kollab attended the Touro College Of Osteopathic Medicine, according to the Canary Mission website.

Canary Mission is a non-profit that exposes people who post anti-Semitic online rants, mainly college students linked to the radical anti-Israel group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). Canary Mission says Kollab supports SJP.

Touro College expressed its shock at Kollab’s online history of anti-Semitism.

In a Dec. 31 statement, the Cleveland Clinic said it had become aware of Kollab’s social media posts through an employee and that “in no way do these beliefs reflect those of our organization.” The Cleveland Clinic employed Kollab from July to September 2018.

According to The Daily Caller‘s religion reporter, Joshua Gill, “Kollab had a history of making violently anti-Semitic comments on social media. An online compilation of Kollab’s tweets showed she often referred to Jews as ‘dogs,’ invoked Allah to kill them, and denigrated both Israel and the U.S.”

In what is perhaps her most outrageous tweet, Kollab said she would give the wrong medicine to Jews.

Kollab reportedly has since wiped clean her social media accounts.

Her move is reminiscent of BDS supporter Lara Alqasem, a former president of SJP’s University of Florida chapter who erased her social media accounts before they could be inspected prior to her coming to Israel to study.

Alqasem successfully thwarted an effort by Israel’s government to have her deported.
