Israeli minister slams Qatar for funding terror

Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli said that the Muslim Brotherhood’s goal is to impose Sharia law in Europe, and therefore, EU institutions that fund the organization are causing “Europe to finance its own death.”

At the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Hungary, speakers vigorously criticized Qatar and European nations that fund the Muslim Brotherhood and similar organizations.

Minister of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Amichai Chikli spoke about the growing influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in France and the role played by Qatar and Turkey in funding the organization.

He added that the Muslim Brotherhood’s goal is to impose Sharia law in Europe, and therefore, EU institutions that fund the organization are causing “Europe to finance its own death.”

Chikli added, “We do not ask others to fight for us; we fight ourselves. We don’t do it because we like war, but because we don’t have the luxury to retreat.”

Minister of Transportation Miri Regev urged French President Emmanuel Macron to “open his eyes” to the Muslim Brotherhood’s activities in France and warned, “Remember, not only the Jews are threatened on French soil, but France itself.”

Last month, Macron announced that he plans to officially recognize “Palestine,” adding that he will meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to finalize the details shortly.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed vigorous opposition to France’s move to recognize a Palestinian state, saying it would be a reward for terrorism.

Netanyahu also reminded Macron that “no Palestinian Arab official, including those in the Palestinian Authority, condemned the October 7 massacre and that the PA educates its children to destroy Israel and distributes prizes to murderers of Jews.”

The prime minister’s son Yair Netanyahu took to X to attack Macron. He wrote: “Screw you! Yes, to the independence of New Caledonia! Yes, to the independence of French Polynesia! Yes, to the independence of Corsica! Yes, to the independence of the Basque Country! Yes, to the independence of French Guinea! Stop the neo-imperialism of France in West Africa!”

At the CPAC conference, Yair Netanyahu called Qatar a “Muslim Brotherhood regime” that seeks to enforce Sharia law in the West and donates money to university campuses to “brainwash” students.

“The Left and the Islamists want to destroy Western civilization for different reasons, but they have the same goal. Israel is just the first target,” he said.
