Orthodox Jewish fighter murdered in Florida during home invasion

Jewish MMA fighter Aaron Rajman was shot dead during an invasion of his home. 

Mixed martial arts (MMA) star Aaron Rajman was shot during an invasion of his home in Boca Raton, Florida, on Monday night.

Rajman, a 25-year-old Orthodox Jew, fought a group of men who invaded his home and was shot during the scuffle. He subsequently died of his wounds in the hospital.

The invaders fled in a vehicle after the incident.

Local police have launched an investigation.

Rajman had a 2-2 professional record and was part of American Top Team, one of the most prestigious MMA gyms in the US.

A friend told local WPBF News that Rajman was close to Chabad-Lubavitch and described him as deeply involved with the local Jewish community and committed to his faith.
