Four Israeli hostages, Segev Kalfon, Matan Angrest, Bar Kupershtein, and Nimrod Cohen, who were recently freed from Hamas captivity, visited the Lubavitch Rebbe’s grave in Queens, New York, to thank God for their miraculous return and acknowledge what they described as the Rebbe’s blessings throughout their ordeal.

Joined by their families, the group expressed deep gratitude for surviving their 738 day nightmare.

At the holy site, the hostages recited the traditional prayer of thanksgiving, and offered heartfelt prayers for the return of the bodies of the three deceased hostages whose remains are still being held in Gaza.

The Ohel, the resting place of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, is visited by more than one million people each year.

Located at the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens, it remains open 24 hours a day and is regarded worldwide as a place of reflection and prayer for private citizens and world leaders alike.

Millions more send written prayers from around the globe.

The Ohel has become a significant center of prayer for hostage families. On the day before Election Day, the Alexander family prayed there together with President Trump for the safe return of their son, Eden Alexander.

After Trump became president, Eden was subsequently released.

In recent months, numerous freed hostages, including Agam Berger, Sasha Troufanov, Eli Sharabi, Noa Argamani, and Eliya Cohen, have also come to the Ohel to thank God for their freedom and pray for the remaining hostages still in captivity.
