Germany’s largest neo-Nazi party declared that it fully supports Iran and wants all sanctions lifted on the regime in Tehran.

Speaking at a European parliament debate last month in Strasbourg, Udo Voigt, head of Germany’s neo-Nazi National Democratic Party (NPD) party said: “Where are the sanctions against other states that violate human rights and commit war crimes: the United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Israel? It is time to lift all sanctions against Tehran, and give Iran another chance,” reported the Jerusalem Post.

Voigt is a member of the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and was elected to the European Parliament in 2014.

According to the Jerusalem Post, NPD supporters have participated in annual anti-Israel al-Quds Day rallies in Berlin that call for the destruction of the Jewish state. German Hezbollah members are strongly represented at the rally in Berlin.

The NPD also promotes the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement against Israel.

The extreme-right NPD party, which Jewish leaders are seeking to ban, lost its representation in the state legislature in the September 2016 elections.
