Among those who defended Trump’s allegation against Obama, saying that the U.S. president is responsible for creating ISIS, is none other than the head of an infamous terror organization.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah told a rally in Lebanon on Saturday that U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was correct to state that President Barack Obama founded the Islamic State (ISIS) terror organization, ABC News reported.
“This is not simple speech,” Nasrallah stated. “This is an American presidential candidate. This was spoken on behalf of the American Republican Party. He has data and documents.”
“In many respects, you know, they honor President Obama,” Trump said earlier this month during a campaign rally outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. “He is the founder of ISIS.”
Trump then claimed that “crooked Hillary Clinton” was actually the group’s co-founder.
Hezbollah, a Shi’ite Muslim terror group, is aligned with Syrian President Bashar Assad against ISIS and other rebel groups in that country’s civil war.
