Hezbollah missile attack on kibbutz kills man in northern Israel

Terrorists in southern Lebanon fire anti-tank missile at civilian cars in a kibbutz in northern Israel, fatally injuring a man trapped in his burning vehicle.

An Israeli man was killed Sunday morning in a missile attack carried out by Hezbollah terrorists operating in southern Lebanon.

The attack targeted civilian vehicles in Kibbutz Misgav Am in the northern Galilee, near Metula, and used an anti-tank missile.

At least three cars were destroyed in the attack, including one in which the driver was inside the vehicle at the time.

The missile attack left the driver, 60-year-old Ofer Moskovitz, trapped in his burning vehicle.

Emergency first responders from Magen David Adom (MDA) and United Hatzalah were dispatched to the scene to treat the man but were forced to declare him dead at the scene.

“We arrived at the scene and saw two vehicles on fire. During the firefighting efforts, we identified a man in the driver’s seat. We conducted medical examinations—he showed no signs of life, and we had to pronounce him dead,” MDA emergency medics Taysir Subh and Safa Abu Rafia said.

United Hatzalah said that a second victim, a 58-year-old woman, was treated for shock.

“The driver of the vehicle was trapped in his car, which caught fire as a result of a direct hit,” said Dvir Levy and Lior Vaknin.

“Unfortunately, his death was pronounced at the scene due to the severe injuries he sustained. The driver of another vehicle, a 58-year-old woman, whose car also caught fire, was treated at the scene in light condition for anxiety.”

Four waves of missile attacks from Iran were reported Sunday morning, with damage reported near a school in the central Israeli cities of Holon and Modi’in, and on Highway 4 near the Geha Interchange.

No injuries were reported in any of the impact sites.

Nearly 100 people were injured in an Iranian missile attack on the southern Israeli city of Arad on Saturday evening, including a five-year-old girl who was seriously injured.

In Dimona, 39 people were injured across several sites from a direct missile strike Saturday night, including a 12-year-old boy in serious condition and a woman around 40 in moderate condition.
