Hostage mothers – ‘Netanyahu murders Jews, is bound for Hell’

The mother of a soldier, abducted on October 7th, claimed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is sending troops to “kill Jews.”

Two mothers of young men abducted during the October 7th massacre, who are believed to still be alive, accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of “murdering” their children in remarks that echoed propaganda promoted by the Hamas terror group.

Speaking at a rally on Saturday outside Netanyahu’s Jerusalem residence, the women demanded an end to the war and a deal to free the hostages — with some 22 believed to be alive and 28 confirmed dead, still being held in Gaza.

Notably, they avoided mentioning Hamas, which kidnapped their sons and slaughtered some 1,200 Israelis during its cross-border invasion.

Instead, the women focused their ire on Netanyahu, suggesting he was blocking a deal due to pressure from his right-wing coalition partners in the Religious Zionist Party.

“Netanyahu will forever be remembered as a murderer in order to remain in power,” said Einav Zangauker, the mother of Matan, who was kidnapped from a kibbutz near Gaza on October 7th.

Zangauker declared that Netanyahu had “intentionally decided to condemn his citizens to death” and was not interested in saving the lives of the remaining hostages. “There is no place hot enough in hell for this leader!” she told the crowd.

Anat Angrest, the mother of a soldier abducted from his tank near the Gaza border, echoed the same accusations. She charged that Netanyahu “will kill” her son “as a human shield for his rule” and accused him of “sending soldiers to kill their brothers in captivity. He is sending Jews to kill Jews” in order to stay in office.

Yotam Cohen, the brother of kidnapped soldier Nimrod, also repeated Hamas talking points. “The moment Israel decides it wants a deal, there will be a deal,” Cohen said. “Until then, [the hostages] will continue to suffer.”

U.S. mediators, including those from the Biden administration, have repeatedly stated that Hamas’ refusal to negotiate in good faith and its intransigence have made securing any agreement nearly impossible.
