U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee slammed reports that French President Emmanuel Macron had planned to recognize a Palestinian state, sarcastically suggesting they build it in the French Riviera and calling the announcement disgusting.
“Macron’s unilateral ‘declaration’ of a ‘Palestinian’ state didn’t say WHERE it would be. I can now exclusively disclose that France will offer the French Riviera & the new nation will be called ‘Franc-en-Stine,’ tweeted Huckabee, in a reference to Mary Shelley’s classic novel Frankenstein.
